Conventions, Meetings, work reunions, conferences, etc are fast becoming an important market for hotels.

It is fundamental to ensure that clients are satisfied during that essential moment of rest from the events, "The Coffee Break".

Coffee breaks are so important that Harrison Owen, a pioneer of both communication and meeting & conference organisation, structured an entire conference like a coffee break.
After having realised throughout his personal experience that people communicate with more enthusiasm during coffee breaks than they do during the work periods.
He organised a conference so that participants felt free to suggest the topics and discuss them like they would during a coffee break.

In order to serve coffee breaks, hotels need time and staff to prepare them, especially in hotels that have more than one conference room, which means that more than one coffee break can take place at the same time.

The traditional system is to:
  1. Prepare the hot and cold drinks, usually in the back office.
  2. Carry the beverages and arrange them in the coffee break area.
  3. Provide staff to replace the products which may have finished.
  4. Bring everything back into the back office for it to be cleaned and tidied away.
This system requires preparation time, many people who must prepare and serve the coffee and it implies a high amount of wastage from unconsumed products.

All of this could add up to a poor quality service: products may not be warm or cold enough when they are being served and people may have to queue to be served etc. These aspects create a negative environment and the client may well be dissatisfied with the service.

The main aim of Blu Angels is to create a relaxing environment where participants (whether at a meeting, a conference or other) can eat, drink and leisurely interact, then resume their work feeling refreshed and energized, this is the aim of the "Blu Coffee" project.

Thanks to the "Blu Coffee" system everything is made easier.
